Office based and part-time. In this role you will report to the Finance Manager and will have relationships with all other departments when required. Main Duties: Keep Purchase Ledger accounts accurate and up to date. Ensure invoices align with corresponding purchase orders. Verify that VAT on all purchase invoices is correct. Organise and file purchase ledger invoices appropriately. Ensure accurate record-keeping of supplier information for future transactions. Address internal and external purchase ledger and invoice queries within 2 weeks of receipt. Maintain strong relationships with suppliers. Perform double-entry bookkeeping tasks daily. Check, input, and pay expense claims as needed. Ensure adherence to company quality and legal requirements. Maintain confidentiality of financial information and uphold integrity. Assist with any other financial duties as required. Skills required: AAT Level 1 required, AAT Level 2 desirable. Strong attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively within a team, while also being capable of working independently when necessary.
