Part-time Accounts Assistant – Glasgow A leading technology company based in central Glasgow are looking to expand their team, by welcoming a part time Accounts Assistant to join their finance department. Primary Responsibilities: Record and maintain accurate financial transactions for the company. Assist in the reparation of financial statements, including cash flow, profit and loss, and balance sheets. Process and post payments, invoices, income, and receipts in accounting software. Handle accounts payable and receivable. Maintain company ledgers and ensure compliance with sales terms. File historical records and retrieve documents when necessary. Monitor debt levels and assist in reconciling inaccuracies. Support the development and monitoring of budgets. Prepare information for auditors, VAT returns and FCA returns. Provide administrative and clerical support as required. Qualifications, Skills and Experience: AAT qualification or CIMA part-qualified (further training support available). Practical experience using Xero software (2 years). Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
