Nelson Permanent Placements are proud to be representing a progressive company based in Tamworth. The company have taken the energy broker market by storm and are looking for a new member to join their team as a Lead Generation Executive.
The role is responsible for driving new business leads into both businesses, by setting up appointments & opportunities for the Sales team to close. You will be given a clear pathway within the business for you to learn the energy & renewables industry, as well as the sales process, so that ultimately you can close the opportunity you bring to the table yourself.
Part of driving new business includes your personal network, networking events, prospecting/cold calling, following up on dead leads, social media including LinkedIn and all-round hunting for new business.
The ideal candidate will be a motivated & driven individual with at least 2 years’ experience within a sales role (telesales, door to door).
Responsibilities:
1. Prospecting and ultimately driving new business leads into both businesses.
2. Prioritising incoming workloads and main focuses.
3. Ensuring data entry and validation is completed within timescales.
4. Ensure leads are delivered to a monthly KPI/Target.
5. Creating and delivering high quality and qualified leads within time scale with a high level of accuracy and minimum error.
6. Understanding the end-to-end customer journey.
7. High level understanding of the Sales Process.
8. Effective and organised use of Admin Systems to store documents appropriately.
9. Organisation of the day-to-day pipeline.
10. Communication with the team about ongoing deals or customer queries.
11. Maintaining awareness of industry and company knowledge.
12. Responsible for one drive- data input ensuring data is saved appropriately and is kept up to date.
13. Chairing Monthly lead progression Meetings.
14. Escalating Customer Complaints.
15. Having an understanding of the energy industry is preferable but not essential.
16. Strong abilities to problem solve.
17. Have had previous experience working with Excel spreadsheets, Adobe Acrobat, CRM Systems.
18. Strong customer service and sales manner.

2. Be able to demonstrate a high level of organisation & time management skills.
3. Have the ability to work on own initiative to meet deadlines.
4. Manage multiple assignments at once whilst maintaining a high level of service.
5. Ambitions to grow.
6. Adaptable and Flexible whilst proactively anticipating stumbling blocks and develop contingency plans.
7. Willingness to take responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work.
8. Be customer focused with an emphasis on the customers needs and goes beyond basic service expectations to help implement solutions.
9. Excellent communication skills – both written and oral.
10. Team Player – Someone who encourages team unity through sharing information and expertise.
11. Energy industry experience is preferred.
