Job Description:
On behalf of my client, an established company with an excellent reputation in its sector, I am seeking an individual to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. Hours of work are Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm and the office is based in the South Belfast area, handy to public transport and on-street parking areas. The salary is negotiable and dependent on skills and experience, expected between £25,000 and £30,000.
The individual will need to be highly organised, demonstrate strong attention to detail—especially when it comes to figures—have strong interpersonal skills and would suit an individual with experience in accounts, office management, sales coordination, or service coordination.
Duties will include:
1. Dealing with telephone, email, and face-to-face enquiries.
2. Delegating jobs to relevant Consultants.
3. Following up with Consultants to ascertain the status of jobs and offer support where needed.
4. Updating social media and websites.
5. Offering administrative support to the Consultants and Manager.
6. Checking and reconciling accounts and following up with discrepancies.
7. Organising payments to clients and contractors.
8. Visiting sites, at times, to gather information as instructed by the manager (after an initial training period; this would be a rare occasion, however, the postholder will need to be able to drive in case the need arises).
You will need:
1. Excellent communication skills both written and verbally.
2. Strong customer service skills both face-to-face and via the telephone.
3. The ability to think on your feet and problem-solve.
4. At least 1 year of experience in an administrative or accounts/finance-related role.
5. Strong attention to detail, able to prioritise and multitask.
6. An aptitude for dealing with a high volume of numbers.
7. Strong team player and excellent interpersonal skills.
8. A full driving licence.
9. Right to work in the UK on a permanent basis.
