This is a full-time position upon completion of the apprenticeship.
The apprentices will undertake the relevant training to be able to perform the following tasks upon completion of their apprenticeship:
1. Service, repair, test, and calibration of all equipment
2. Painting, use of abrasive equipment and machines
3. Handling and assembling of new equipment
4. Fault finding and determining proper solutions
5. Provide service and customer support where needed
6. Interpret engineering drawings
7. Identify quality issues
8. Factory maintenance, ensuring the factory area is always kept tidy and safe
9. Suggest improvements to enhance efficiency
10. Report any health and safety risks or raise queries
11. Report safety observations, both negative and positive, via the HSSE Portal
12. Ensure all HSSEQ rules and regulations are communicated and enforced throughout the organization
13. Proactively participate in safety awareness and improvement
14. Represent the company in a professional manner at all times, both internally and externally
15. Follow published processes and comply with all company policies and procedures
16. Be an ambassador for the business, ensuring that health & safety comes first at all times
Candidates will work towards a Level 3 standard in Engineering Fitter.
End-point assessment will take place at the end of the apprenticeship.
Working hours are Monday - Thursday (8am - 5pm) and Friday (8am - 1pm).
