An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Registered Mental Health Nurse - Acute Ward to work in an exceptional mental health hospital based in the Marchwood, Southampton area. You will be working for one of the UK's leading health care providers.

To be considered for this role, you must be qualified as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a current active NMC Pin.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Adopt a systemic, individual approach to all patient care plans and communicate the outcomes to the clinical team both verbally and in writing, ensuring all CPA and risk assessment documentation is kept up to date.
2. Ensure effective communication of any concerns relating to patient care.
3. Deputise in the absence of the Ward Manager and their Deputy to manage the staffing and clinical needs of the ward as required.
4. Support and supervise new or junior staff and support regional management in developing and implementing new services.
5. Manage the assessment, implementation, and evaluation of individual patient care plans while promoting a professional working environment to ensure a high standard of patient care.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
1. Knowledge of NMC guidelines, requests, and professional practices.
2. Evidence of post-registration continuing professional development.
3. Demonstrates a positive attitude and commitment to change, improvement, and quality.
4. Ability to develop and use flexible and innovative approaches to practice.
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
