We are looking for Service Development Assistants to work with a lady who lives in her own home. She loves music and theatre shows. She has performed on stage in the Kings Theatre live over zoom, singing songs with her Choir. She enjoys trampolining, going to the zoo and museum. We are looking for resilient team members who understand that people can communicate through their behaviours when stressed or distressed, but with the right support, these instances can be reduced to enable people to lead full, active, and socially connected lives.
Responsibilities:
1. Experience of supporting people who communicate through their behaviours.
2. Familiarity with Positive Behaviour Support Plans.
3. Working as part of a team to maximise understanding of different forms of communication.
4. Approaches to minimise stress for individuals.
