The Role: The Customer Services Training Partner is essentially that of a technical trainer within a customer service function that covers several teams, reporting into the Learning & Development Manager. The role is office based where your week is structured around spending 3 days per week with the customer service teams and 2 days per week working with your L&D colleagues. Key responsibilities include: Develop and maintain departmental competency matrices to identify competency levels and learning gaps Schedule, administer and record group and on the job training Identify learning needs/gaps and provide learning to address any shortcomings. Design, maintain and centralise learning materials Deliver industry, product and skills training across teams Devise and deliver departmental induction/learning programmes Create a trainer support network across teams to aid collaboration, develop trainers’ skills and ensure consistency in approach. Evaluate induction and department learning to identify needs and improve approach Skills / Experience Required: For this Customer Services Training Partner role you must have excellent coaching and facilitation skills and proven ability to create engaging training material using a range of blended learning methods. You should have experience of working in a fast-paced, telephone customer service environment and ideally a background in Financial Services, Banking or Insurance.
