You must be a conscientious person who is motivated to complete their work and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities. You will be an independent worker but also enjoy being part of a team both face to face and at a distance. The role will be varied but rewarding, and training and support will be provided. Within this role, you will be the first point of contact for other professionals, patients, and their families. Liaising daily with the leadership team and other team members, you will be pivotal in the organisation of the service. This post is likely to commence from April 2025. You must have the ability to communicate with staff at all levels, as well as other agencies and patients. You will need to demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. You should have the ability to problem-solve and analyze situations to be aware of when to escalate issues that arise. The role will include completing general administration tasks such as letters and reports as requested by our clinicians and leadership team. You will support a new way of working and develop this with colleagues, which will include managing referrals for patients received into the service and, at times, allocating these to our therapists. You may be asked to support with arranging and attending meetings, taking minutes when requested, and arranging rotas for clinical duties. Therefore, travel may be requested of you within the county. You will delegate for your colleague in the other part of the county when they are on leave. You will work closely with the leadership team and be part of service development projects. You may be asked to collate information and complete presentations in this regard and be able to pull reports from our systems. This will be a varied role that will be very fulfilling for the right person. At LCHS, we know diversity fosters creativity and innovation. We are committed to equality of opportunity, being fair and inclusive, and being a place where all belong. We particularly encourage applications from candidates likely to be underrepresented in LCHS’ workforce. Flexible working opportunities such as part-time working, compressed hours, job shares, and hybrid working models can help staff balance their personal and work commitments. We are an ambassador of a learning culture that will support the right individual to progress in their chosen career through an 'earn while you learn' apprenticeship programme. This role will primarily be administrative in nature but will also encompass some service development and an analytical aspect to it. The role is evolving and may change, but full support will be provided by peers, the wider staffing group, and the leadership team. You will become a valued member of the team within a Trust that wants to develop and encourage its staff.
