Accounts Assistant required for a 12 month fixed term contract in North Tyneside. Company A successful and growing privately owned SME in the construction sector. The Role This role is predominantly office based, with the possibility of flexibility/1 day per week from home after probation. Working as part of a small accounts team dealing with invoicing (accounts payable and some accounts receivable). Activities will include raising purchase orders, ensure purchase invoices are approved, match against purchase orders, querying discrepancies, supplier statement reconciliations, assisting with bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations.Other general administrative duties will include inputting timesheet information and ordering gaining prices and ordering materials from suppliers. Experience Required Previous experience working in an accounts role with strong attention to detail and accuracy.Good IT skills in MS Excel and accounting software experience.A professional and friendly telephone manner.
