SEN and SEMH Teacher – Bedford Are you a qualified teacher? Are interested in making a difference? Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a secondary teacher to work with a small group of higher-ability SEN and SEMH pupils in a specialist provision secondary school in Bedford. This will involve sticking with the class throughout their day-to-day, covering multiple core subject areas. This role begins in January on a temp to perm basis. A large proportion of this class experiences ASC, meaning experience with Autism is greatly beneficial to this role. Each pupil follows and EHCP, meaning the incoming teacher will work closely with three 2:1 Teaching Assistants to ensure each child reaches their maximum potential. This class are preparing for their GCSEs, meaning additional tuition may be required of the incoming teacher. The incoming teacher will be expected to develop appealing lesson plans, engaging pupils and excelling basic skills. Bedford-based SEN & SEMH Secondary School; easily accessible by bus, train or car. PAYE on a weekly basis on Timesheets through Teaching Personnel (no umbrella company or agency fees). Temp to perm, full-time role with a January start. Daily rate pro-rata from M1-UPS3 pay scale (£28,000 – £43,685). Registration with Teaching Personnel required. Opportunity to move onto a school-based contract following a successful trial period.
