What you’ll be doing
The COO is a key enabler within Digital and is pivotal to creating a new BT. This role is designed to drive outcomes necessary for the Digital and BT transformation.
* This role is crucial for enabling the Digital strategy and plans, driving an ambitious digital transformation across ecosystems of partners involving performance, data insights, and commercial optimisation, leveraging data and AI capabilities to create a world-class partner ecosystem management engagement.
* Execute digital ecosystems transformation initiatives, including benefit realisation from ideation to execution, and manage Digital’s partner efficiency plan through interlock processes between programmes and units.
* Drive cost reduction initiatives related to third-party spend for Digital Partner Ecosystems efficiency and sourcing initiatives, ensuring benefit realisation aligns with Digital vision and strategy.
You'll have the following skills and experience
* Experience in digital transformation, strategic sourcing, cost reduction, and sourcing operating model design and implementation.
* Proven track record of developing and delivering impactful, sustainable change programmes.
* Ability to define and deliver transformation strategies, including restructuring large deals.
* Experience in managing transformation strategies and delivering commercial management and cost reduction projects.
* Knowledge of vendor management functions.
* Experience in at least one key technology sourcing domain: Application Development, Application Maintenance (ADAM), Networks, Data Centres, Cloud, Hosting, or End User Computing.
* Strong commercial acumen for financial negotiations and full TCO analysis over medium and long-term, considering internal and external factors.
* Understanding of technology industry architecture principles and trends to influence business decisions.
