If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a STEM Community Officer to join our friendly and collaborative Marketing and Customer Experience team The Role In this role, you will take the lead in developing and implementing a range of initiatives to drive engagement within the STEM Ambassador Community. Working closely with the STEM Community Manager, you will create and share compelling content, support community members, and amplify the community’s impact through strategic partnerships. You will bring the STEM Ambassadors’ contributions to life through interactive online discussions, insightful articles, and engaging multimedia. By championing our community and fostering collaboration among STEM Ambassadors, educators, and stakeholders, you will ensure the community thrives with active and engaged members. The work is varied and exciting—one day you might be filming with one of our amazing volunteers, another you could be planning a campaign to celebrate a milestone number of volunteering hours or designing a competition to showcase the work of STEM Ambassadors. This is a fantastic time to join the team and shape how we engage our community of STEM Ambassadors and educators. You will have the opportunity to work creatively, identify new opportunities to showcase the incredible contributions of our community members, and take ownership of key projects and initiatives that demonstrate the value of our network. You will regularly evaluate progress and refine our approach to ensure continuous improvement. This role is based at the National STEM Learning Centre in York with hybrid working options available and frequency at the office to be discussed.
