And you can be a driving force The role works within the Home & Seasonals Trading Finance team in Argos and is responsible for proactively business partnering the Commercial teams. As Finance Analyst you will provide insight, analysis and commentary to the Home & Seasonals team, aiming to influence and drive decisions and actions that improve the bottom line. You'll also support the Finance Manager in their business area and the wider Finance team as required. More about the role Business Partner the Home & Seasonals team and support the wider Commercial team where needed Run and interpret reporting to provide timely insight, analysis and commentary to stakeholders, such as weekly trade and stock reporting Identify risks, anomalies and opportunities and flag these to Finance Manager for prioritisation Complete ad hoc / bespoke analysis for the business area to drive improvements, such as promotional activity performance In line with timeline and process set by Central Trading Finance and FP&A, work with business to manage Forecasting & Budgeting Build strategic business cases and support post implementation reviews Success in this role will mean supporting the business in making decisions that enhance performance to drive incremental income for the business, improving ROI performance and managing cost lines effectively More about you Professionally Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA), or studying towards qualification Commercial Finance experience within the FMCG industry is desirable Strong Excel and presentation skills, with an aptitude for turning data into analysis and insight and being able to clearly articulate this through your communication Strong commercial acumen To have a good track record of strong financial control, but also the ability to maintain such an environment Pro-active and able to use initiative to make improvements to the way we do things Effective communicator with all levels of stakeholders, including audiences of varying financial and commercial acumen LI-CE1 We are committed to being a truly inclusive retailer, so you'll be welcomed whoever you are and wherever you work.
