Job Role: Field Service Engineer\nLocation: Nottingham, Nottinghamshire (Accepting Applicants from surrounding counties)\nSalary: £33,000-£35,000 base salary (OTE £42,000-£60,000pa)\nHours: Monday-Friday 08.00-16.30 + Door to Door Paid + Overtime @ 1.5x\nJob Type: Full time, Permanent\n\nThe client:\n Interaction have partnered with a rapidly expanding, rewarding and innovate organisation based in the Nottinghamshire area to support the growth of their engineering team. Due to continuous growth, we are looking for a skilled electromechanical engineer interested in learning, developing and progressing within the Compact Plant industry.\n\nThe package:\n\n28 days annual leave including bank holidays + 1 additional day per year / up to 25 days + Bank\nLaptop, Company Vehicle, Fuel Card, Company Credit Card\nCompany Pension Scheme\nTraining & Development within industry \nOccasional overnight stays (Paid subsidiaries, food & drink allowance)\nOvertime paid before 08.00 @ 1.5x hourly rate, 1.5x hourly after 16.30, Optional Weekend Work First four hours on Saturday paid at 1.5x, 2x for every hour after. Sundays & Public holidays are paid at 2x hourly rate\nOperate in a 1.5 hour radius of your location with door to door paid\nOpportunity for training & progression within to a senior role.\nThe Duties:\n\nTo attend breakdowns, service and PPM’s on an array of industrial scale compactor systems within the waste management industry.\nThe use of manual hand tools (Spanners, Screwdrivers), electrical hand tools (powered drills, grinders), lifting equipment (lifting slangs, hoists etc), Hot working tools (Blowtorch, heat guns)\nTo carry out electrical, electronic, mechanical fault finding alongside elements of hydraulic systems.\nTo manage your time effectively to ensure work is carried out to a high standard in a timely manner.\n Update job reports and order parts when necessary.\nEnsure Health & Safety Procedures are followed\nThe Requirements:\n\nElectrical, Electrical and/or Mechanical fault finding, repair & service experience would be advantageous.\nAny previous experience with MIG/TIG Welding 0 Advantageous but not essential\nA good level of electrical or mechanical knowledge, similar roles could include plant engineer, maintenance engineer, hydraulic engineer, pneumatic engineer, mechanical fitter, forklift engineer.\nExperience using electrical & mechanical tools.\nPrevious experience as a mechanical, electrical or field based engineer.
