Monarch Education is working with large clusters of primary schools located in Corby and we are currently recruiting for individuals to fill a number of Primary Cover Supervisor/Higher Level Teaching Assistant roles. There is also a possibility that this role will become a permanent position for the right person.
You are not required to have a Teaching Qualification to be successful, just up-to-date and relevant experience working with young people. This is a perfect opportunity for a recent graduate or someone who is potentially looking to start a career in education. You must be confident in covering large primary classes and have an adaptable and engaging approach.
This position will allow you to gain experience managing a variety of lessons and building rapport with students. This is a chance to develop teaching and strong classroom management skills in an environment where planning will always be in place.
Responsibilities:
* Working across a range of different year groups and departments
* Managing the behaviour of students
* Supervising pre-planned, pre-set work from teachers
Requirements of the Candidate:
* Recent and relevant experience working with young people, this can be in an educational, coaching, or care setting
* Degree educated
* Be passionate and committed to working with children in education
* Have strong behaviour management skills
* Be an effective communicator and have strong interpersonal skills
* Be punctual, flexible, and reliable
This is an ideal role for someone who is looking to develop their experience of working within a school environment or may wish to complete teacher training in the future.
