Principal Engineer, Subsea Structure & Tie-in

Our client performs a key role developing projects and providing expert engineering support worldwide.
They are leading the energy transition from traditional business areas with decarbonised solutions such as CCS (Carbon Capture and Storage) to innovative projects such as renewables and hydrogen.
Role Overview
A Principal Subsea Structure and Tie-in engineer is required to support offshore deepwater projects.
They will support all the engineering activities related to subsea structure and tie-in systems in different phases of the project, from feasibility to Basic/FEED and along the execution phase for several new upcoming or ongoing initiatives.
Knowledge and Experience
1. Extensive experience as a Subsea Structure and Tie-in Engineer throughout the various phases of project development (from concept development to execution) and handover to operations.
2. Experience in the technical design of subsea structures such as Manifolds/PLEMs, PLETs/ILTs, PLRs, etc., and tie-in systems from preliminary engineering through detailed design, with knowledge of the main subsea and installation interfaces.
3. Experience with Design and Safety Reviews, HAZOP, HAZID’s, Risk Assessment.
Qualifications
1. Minimum BS Degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering, or other related engineering discipline.
2. Demonstrable experience in the Oil and Gas Industry with respect to subsea structures and tie-in systems from preliminary engineering through detailed design.
Flexible Working
Their SmartWorking policy allows personnel to work for up to 12 working days/month from home or a similar secure location. These 12 days can be available even where personnel are on leave for a portion of the month. Typically, around 60% of time working remotely is available for individuals who wish to take advantage of this.
