Typical shift as a bank Housing Concierge
* Provide first line support for our customers when our wider team or their own support network aren’t around to help.
* Manage the health and safety of the building, patrolling to check fire doors, ensuring everything is locked and secure.
* Think on your feet and manage situations on the spot, such as investigating suspicious activity or raising the alarm when we need to engage emergency services.
* Maintain cleanliness and tidiness within the building.
You bring
* Ability to remain calm under pressure with great communication skills.
* Experience in supporting vulnerable individuals (public service or military background is a plus).
* Sociable and interested in people, using insights and keen eye for detail to spot changes in behavior.
* Recognize when things are about to go wrong and intervene in a sensitive manner.
* A team player with the confidence to work alone, backed by our wider team including our out of hours emergency support team.
Job details
* Shifts work between 10pm - 6am, on two shift patterns: Sunday - Wednesday (inclusive) or Thursday - Saturday (inclusive).
* Casual work allows you to choose your shifts as needed.
* Able to use technology for creating and updating support plans, completing mandatory learning, and keeping in touch with colleagues.
* Enhanced DBS check required, which we pay for.
