Opportunity Overview:
This is an exciting time for Superseed. We are about to launch fundraising for our next fund (SuperSeed III) as we approach the end of the investment period for our second fund. We are looking for a dedicated Investor Relations Associate to support our fundraising efforts during this critical phase.
Reporting to the Head of Investor Relations, you will work directly with the Partners and Managing Director and play a key role in our investor relations and fundraising activities. This position offers exceptional exposure to the venture capital fundraising process and provides a unique opportunity to develop relationships with family offices, institutions and other investors.
Based on our fundraising cycle, we are looking for candidates who are able to join us as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
* Investor prospecting: Identify potential family offices and LP investors; conduct initial validation of prospects
* Data analysis: Leverage tools like Pitchbook, Companies House, and other sources to uncover potential LPs and find connections to generate warm leads
* Relationship building: Help develop strategies to engage with potential investors and manage communications
* Process management: Maintain our investor CRM (Affinity), track all interactions, and ensure timely follow-ups
* Meeting coordination: Schedule and prepare materials for investor meetings
* Content creation: Support the creation of email campaigns and investor communications
* Document management: Handle document requests, monitor data room access, and track investor engagement
* Investor relations support: Field investor calls, respond to information requests, and provide exceptional investor service throughout the fundraising process
Required Qualifications:
* 1-2 years of experience in venture capital, investor relations, fundraising, or a related field
* Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft professional, personable correspondence
* Tech-savvy with experience or quick ability to learn tools such as Affinity, Pitchbook, MixMax, and spreadsheet applications. Prior experience with these tools is preferred.
* Proactive problem-solving ability and willingness to learn new systems
* Understanding of the investment process and venture capital ecosystem
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
* Professional demeanour with strong interpersonal skills and high emotional intelligence
