Responsibilities:
1. Lead customer projects involving all areas of project management, from concept to industrialisation, with the intent of winning new business.
2. Work with all parts of the NPI process, including design, development, and hands-on prototype & testing.
3. Build and maintain relationships with key people across the business to support the Application Engineering role and customers.
4. Some travel to customer sites may be required.
Qualifications:
1. You have a degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical). We would consider a wide range of experience, but you would need to demonstrate at least a few years of engineering experience.
2. You have experience with digital design tools e.g. CAD, FEA.
3. You can communicate effectively and concisely, both internally and to customers.
4. You are interested in engaging with our customers and understand the importance of identifying their needs and requirements to ensure project success.
5. You are resilient in the face of challenges and can problem-solve effectively.
6. You relish the challenge of leading projects from concept to production.
7. You enjoy managing all aspects of a project to deliver successful outcomes (relevant experience of introducing new products would be advantageous).
8. You’re curious about the multi-facets of product engineering and actively enjoy testing and prototyping.
