This role will involve managing existing planning applications through outlined and detailed consents, working autonomously and reporting directly to the directors.
The ideal candidate will be dynamic, ambitious, and hungry to succeed, with extensive experience dealing with planning applications and appeals in the residential property market.
Salary
The salary on offer is £60-70k complemented by a comprehensive package, including a flexible hybrid working arrangement.
Job Description
As a Town Planning Manager, you will play a central role in supervising and orchestrating planning and development initiatives throughout the South Coast.
Your duties will encompass guiding a team of committed planners, engaging with local authorities and stakeholders, formulating and presenting planning applications, assessing and proposing resolutions for intricate planning and zoning issues, and sustaining a commitment to ongoing research and professional development.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a degree qualification and MRTPI status, as well as significant experience working for a planning consultancy or residential developer/house builder.
You will also need to demonstrate bright, ambitious, and determined approach to your work, with excellent communication and project management skills.
