Location: RG7 4PR, located between Reading and Basingstoke, with free onsite parking.
Package: £62,020 - £80,000 (depending on your suitability, qualifications, and level of experience)

Let us introduce the role
AWE's Asset Engineering Group Leader is now recruiting for a Principal Engineering Planner to ensure the management, development, implementation, and integration of Planning practices in the Maintenance and Engineering environment.
You'll be accountable for:
Ensuring the Management and integration of the Maintenance Plan into AWE's Production schedule
Ensuring that scheduling standards are applied consistently across the integrated plan
Influencing and guiding key stakeholders on potential issues arising from conflicts or dependencies across schedules
The delivery of long-range integrated Planning activities
Developing and maintaining relationships with and awareness of key programme stakeholders
Maintaining and promoting high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security, and quality and adhere to the companies' expected values and behaviours
You'll be responsible for the development of and leadership of the planning technical discipline which includes;
Developing the processes, procedures, work instructions and relevant tools for their discipline
Assuring the processes as part of the Licence Condition requirements as the Senior figure of the discipline community
Supporting delivery of the Planning services through the provision of subject matter expertise
The coaching and mentoring of junior members of their community
Defining and delivering continuous improvement activity
Supporting the People Capability Lead in Competency Assessment and development of the Learning & Development framework
Developing and establishing Baseline in accordance with agreed policies and procedures
Ensuring Planning Assumptions are current and correct
Monitoring and analysis of schedule performance, contribution to the development of accurate schedule narrative for reporting purposes
Monitoring risks and opportunities, profile impacts and mitigations
The development and execution of schedule risk analysis
The Company may require you to fulfil any other reasonable duties aligned to your position from time to time in line with business needs
Whilst not to be considered a tick list, we'd like you to have experience in some of the following:
Degree in STEM discipline, equivalent NQF level 6 qualification or equivalent experience
Previously held a people management role
Experience of maintenance and engineering planning software
Experience of successfully managing projects across teams
Experience of successfully managing a high performing and motivated team
Proven track record of delivery, performance and continuous improvement
Demonstrates a working appreciation of financial and business requirements
