Key Responsibilities:
As an Aspiring Youth Justice Worker in Bristol, you will:
1. Provide emotional, behavioural, and pastoral support to children who may be at risk of exclusion, have challenging behaviours, or are dealing with difficult life circumstances.
2. Work directly with children to develop coping strategies, improve social skills, and manage emotions in both structured and unstructured settings.
3. Collaborate with the school's SENCO, safeguarding team, and external agencies (such as youth justice services) to develop individualized support plans for at-risk children.
4. Monitor and track the progress of children's behaviour, attendance, and engagement, providing regular updates to teachers, parents, and relevant support staff.
