Analyze manufacturing system performance, standard work and process flow compliance, and turnbacks data to identify opportunities for improvement. Optimize resource utilization through process mapping and analysis of operations processes, managing and leading operations improvement projects Identify and reduce inefficiency and waste through process audits, ensuring that products are manufactured in a cost-efficient manner while meeting the design requirements and established quality standards. Utilize methodologies such as DOE, FMEA, RCCA, technical research, and prototyping to solve complex manufacturing issues Identify and implement process control measures, including statistical process control (SPC) techniques, to ensure consistent quality and reduce process variation. Create/update standard documentation (ie. Work Instructions, Process Flow) and suggest updates to design data and manufacturing specification (if necessary) to sustain implemented improvements. Contribute to strategic roadmaps focused on factory expansion, manufacturing technology insertion, infrastructure improvements, obsolescence mitigation, and the integration of new capabilities. New product/program release review (proper tools identification, preparation and evaluation, manufacturability assessment, process design and optimization, update checkpoints for ME review identified critical) ex. Plastics assembly, insourcing, etc. Key Experiences: Process Mapping & Work Instructions: Strong experience in developing and optimizing process maps and creating detailed work instructions to ensure operational efficiency and consistency across tasks. Real-Time Problem Solving: Proven ability to swiftly diagnose and address production issues in real time, ensuring minimal downtime and continuous workflow. Root Cause Analysis Expertise: Hands-on experience conducting in-depth root cause analysis to identify underlying issues and implement long-lasting corrective actions, driving process improvements. Machining/Assembly Experience: Previous experience in a machining or assembly environment, with a solid understanding of production processes and industry best practices. Low Batch/High Mix Operations: Familiarity with low batch, high mix manufacturing environments, with a preference for candidates who have successfully managed the complexity and variability that comes with these operations.
