Meraki Talent is working with a dynamic professional services company in the search for a meticulous and proactive Claims Specialist to join their Glasgow-based team. This is a full-time permanent opportunity and is perfect for an experienced Claims Specialist looking for the next step in their career with a reputable organisation.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing claims by identifying complaints, negotiating settlements and investigating cases.
Key Responsibilities:
* Investigate claims by gathering relevant information, documents, and evidence from clients and third parties.
* Handle claims from notification to resolution, ensuring timely communication and efficient progress.
* Liaise with clients, insurers, brokers, and other stakeholders to negotiate fair settlements.
* Maintain accurate, up-to-date case files and records on claims processing.
* Prepare reports detailing claims activity, outcomes, and potential issues for management review.

* Provide clear, concise advice and updates to clients on claim statuses.
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders, offering a professional and courteous service.
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience :
* Minimum 1-2 years of experience in claims handling, preferably within professional services (legal, insurance, finance, or consulting sectors).
* Customer and Client Service experience
Skills :
* Strong knowledge of claims handling processes and industry regulations.
* Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities.
* Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple claims simultaneously.
* Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and communication skills (both verbal and written).
* Proficient in claims management software and MS Office Suite.
