An excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Technician to join a reputable Oil and Gas Company is now available. In this role, you will install, service, repair, and maintain offshore oil equipment whilst liaising closely with Senior Management. Strong hydraulic experience is advantageous in this role.
Responsibilities:
* Installation, service, and repair of all equipment.
* Log information.
* Obtain information from management teams to assist and build new equipment.
* Provide backup assistance when required.
* Attend safety meetings.
* Follow all health and safety protocol.
* Travel offshore/overseas to install, service, and repair equipment.
Essential:
* Qualifications in a Technical or Engineering discipline.
* Valid Offshore Certification.
* Experience in maintaining mechanical/hydraulic machinery.
* Ability to work to high standards with strong communication.
Work Pattern:
* Onshore (workshop) – 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday – weekend rates available.
* Offshore: 60-80 days per year (offshore day rate).
Remuneration:
* £19 per hour.
* Offshore: £328 per day.
