Religious Education (RE) Teacher – Academy in Croydon, London
The PWR team at Teaching Personnel are working with a thriving academy in Croydon, London, to recruit a passionate Religious Education (RE) Teacher for a permanent position. This academy, part of a well-established Multi-Academy Trust, is known for its commitment to high academic standards and developing students' understanding of global cultures, ethics, and beliefs.

* Location: Croydon, London
* Start Date: Easter or later (dependent on candidate availability)
* Salary: MPS/UPS (Potential TLR for the right candidate)
Responsibilities:
* Teaching RE across KS3 and KS4, with the potential to teach KS5 for experienced candidates
* Delivering engaging and inclusive lessons that encourage debate and discussion
* Supporting students in their GCSE Religious Studies exams through structured teaching and interventions
* Contributing to the wider school community through assemblies, extracurricular activities, and curriculum development
* Upholding the academy’s ethos of respect, integrity, and open-minded learning
Minimum Requirements:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
* Have experience teaching RE at secondary level, ideally with GCSE experience
* Be passionate about engaging students in discussions around faith, philosophy, and ethics
* Have strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire students from diverse backgrounds
* Be a reflective practitioner committed to ongoing professional development
