Interim HR Advisor | Medway | £35k - £37k
Our client, a successful, well-established international business in Mid Kent, is seeking to appoint an experienced HR Advisor for a 12-month maternity cover. Reporting to the HR Director and working within the HR team, this role will work closely with the wider business providing support for employee relations.
The successful candidate will be able to work from their Medway-based office 5 days a week.
Responsibilities include:
1. Provide advice and guidance to employees, team leaders, and managers on a wide range of HR issues.
2. Provide coaching and education, supporting business areas on HR-related matters, building relationships with employees and key stakeholders.
3. Be the escalation point for queries the HR Administrator is unable to deal with and escalate more complex issues to the HR Director.
4. Drive the recruitment process, adhering to relevant legislation and providing a first-class experience for all candidates.
5. Assist in formal meetings, such as employee disciplinaries and grievances as required.
6. Support with the creation and delivery of HR development training modules.
7. Support key projects and achieving the HR strategy, specifically in relation to learning and development, engagement, and retention.
8. Provide appropriate reports from the HR System for the purpose of auditing and monitoring employee data and training.
The ideal candidate:
1. CIPD qualification (or working towards one) is highly desirable; however, candidates who are qualified by experience will also be considered.
2. Good team player, flexible, and able to work on own initiative.

4. Appreciates the importance of accuracy and attention to detail.
5. Demonstrates a sense of urgency and good work ethic.
6. Ability to work with competing deadlines and priorities.
7. The ideal candidate will be able to start on short notice for this fixed-term contract.
