Responsible for coordinating strategy and its execution at local and regional levels with business stakeholders, operational and global shared services team members and executive sponsors. The position also leads regional BTO (Bid, Transition and Operations activities within an international, highly regulated and complex environment in cooperation with the Solutions and Commercial Team. Key Tasks: - Manages the solutioning, onboarding and contracting of Full Spectrum service providers across the Life Sciences division on behalf of enterprise client accounts within a specified geography. - In collaboration with the Global Lab Strategic Sourcing Director and Account Procurement this role defines, develops and implements regional Procurement Management programs, guaranteeing delivery of the Sector Leadership & client contractual obligations for Procurement. - Collaborates with the Full Spectrum regional procurement team which can consist of Sourcing / Procurement Managers, Procurement Analysts and Contract Support roles. - Works closely with the Global Lab Strategic Sourcing Director to provide key contributions in regional strategy development, category management, supplier development & business development. - Guarantees availability of the requisite internal and external suppliers for current and future business needs, as well as their development and supply in terms of quality, promptness and economical cost for meeting Gross Margin objectives and specific customers' demands. - Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Support the recruiting and hiring of new employees. - Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Work with business stakeholders, operational shared services team members, and sponsors to develop, coordinate, and execute strategy at local and regional levels. - Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed. - Support account level cost control, savings creation, cost-out programs and report the results as directed periodically. - Analyse account-wide services spend, suppliers and operations to identify opportunities for value creation. - Prepare and maintain legal contracts with national and regional service providers. Ensure contracts adhere to company standards. - Lead by example and model behaviours that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement. Deal with sensitive issues. - Apply knowledge of own discipline and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives. - Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.
