Support Worker: Homelessness
LOCATION: Exeter
HOURS: 37 hours on a rota basis 8-9
SALARY: £14.46 PAYE
DURATION: Temp 3 months+
START DATE: ASAP

If so, we have an exciting temporary opportunity for you! We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team and provide essential support to individuals navigating through homeless pathways. This role offers a chance to be a part of a compassionate and dedicated team, making a real impact in the community.
Empower individuals experiencing homelessness to access support services and resources
Contribute to creating a safe and supportive environment for those in need
Collaborate with a dynamic team to deliver high-quality care and assistance Responsibilities:
Provide practical support and guidance to individuals accessing homeless pathways
Advocate for clients and assist in their journey towards stability and independence
Collaborate with external agencies and community partners to ensure comprehensive support
Maintain accurate and timely records of client interactions and progress
Contribute to the development and implementation of support plans tailored to individual needs Preferred Requirements:
Experience in a similar support role within the homeless sector
Understanding of the challenges faced by individuals experiencing homelessness
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work flexibly and respond effectively to changing needs
Empathetic and non-judgmental approach to supporting vulnerable individuals Preferred Qualifications:
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care
Certification in Mental Health First Aid
Valid driving license and access to own vehicle You will receive from BRC:
