We have a fantastic new opportunity to join us as Commercial Finance Operations Manager at Holland & Barrett to manage the performance and delivery of the Finance Analyst Centre of Excellence in support of the Business Partnering function. The role will partner with the Finance Business Partner population, understanding demand and managing analyst capacity and output delivering high quality support in a standardised way whilst providing rapid developmental opportunities for the analyst population. The Role: Key Responsibilities Major Projects and Initiatives: Successfully implement this new way of working within H&B, demonstrating the value created for Finance and the wider business. Explore the potential for rolling out across the wider HBI Finance team to drive further efficiencies. Operational Tasks: Partner with the Finance Business Partners to understand the key demands on the team, managing prioritisation in an agile and dynamic way. Manage the output of the analyst population in partnership with the commercial finance team Drive a continuous improvement culture across systems, processes, and reporting within the finance team. Location: This role is based in Nuneaton, and may be occasionally required to travel to our London Hub or to any other location of H&B. We support flexibility and productivity of our employees by hybrid working arrangements with minimum 2 days presence in the office. The Person: Key Requirements: Strong understanding of financial processes (Costs and Sales/Margin) and approaches to financial analysis Comprehensive knowledge of how to navigate various data sources and query through SQL Advanced financial modelling skills. Strong leadership and communication skills to manager delivery across the team. Proactive problem-solving abilities with a focus on delivering solutions. High attention to detail with strong organizational and prioritization capabilities. Proven experience in a fast-paced, commercial environment with sharp commercial acumen. Deep experience of working with large datasets to extract data and pull out trends and insight Experience in analysing and improving financial performance metrics such as sales, margin, and EBITDA.
