This post is one focusing on Deformity/Orthognathic subspecialist interest and general OMFS work. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a team of supportive consultants providing Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Services to the County of Shropshire and a substantial part of the adjacent Welsh County of Powys. Main duties of the job Clinicalo We are looking for consultant Colleague with sub-specialist interest in Deformity & Orthognathic which covers patient streams from both Telford & Shrewsbury.o You will be required to undertake general OMFS work as part of service provision requirements.o You will undertake Outpatient Clinics at both Hospitals with a main inpatient base and dedicated Head and Neck ward at Princess Royal Hospital, Telford.o You will undertake both daycase and inpatient operating which is mostly based at the Royal Princess Hospital at Telford. A full-time job plan is based on a 10 PA working week. It covers all aspects of a consultants professional practice including clinical work, teaching, research, education and managerial responsibilities.
