Sheddingdean is a diverse, one-form entry primary school situated in Burgess Hill, West Sussex. Although we are a small school, we have big aspirations for every individual. Are you a creative, effective Learning Support Assistant or have the desire to be one? We are looking for a team player and a positive thinker who inspires children to learn and believes every child can succeed. Are you able to build relationships and support behaviour in a calm, consistent and therapeutic way? If so, read on.
Qualities We Are Looking For:
1. An interest in, and love of, working with children
2. Positivity, passion, and initiative in delivering and supporting stimulating learning opportunities for the children
3. The ability to make a difference for the children and contribute as a colleague
4. The ability to enable all children, as individuals, to thrive in your care
5. Good communication and IT skills
6. A team player
7. Willingness to work across a class or on a 1:1 basis with individual children
8. Specialist training can be provided for the right candidate
