We are recruiting for an Audit Manager, tasked with performing external partner audits in line with the Annual Revenue Assurance Plan, identifying issues that prevent Compare the Market from being accurately paid for revenue generated, and making recommendations to improve partners’ control environments.

You’ll ideally bring:
1. The ability to create and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management and to clearly articulate technical and commercial issues.
2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
3. Tact and diplomacy coupled with an ability to deliver difficult feedback without disrupting current relationships.
4. Good Excel skills, be highly numeric and able to analyze data and trends.
5. Previous experience in an audit or assurance role.
6. A strong character, able to quickly establish their credibility and operate with gravitas when dealing with external partners.
Responsibilities include:
1. Plan, perform and deliver high quality external partner audits, in accordance with the Revenue Assurance Methodology.
2. Provide assurance over sales accreditation by gaining a detailed understanding of the external partner’s related systems, processes and controls.
3. Ensure that external partners adhere to their key contractual obligations, particularly in relation to the payment of fees, influencing them to improve their own control environments.
4. Calculate and negotiate settlements with partners to recover any lost revenue.
5. Draft and issue key audit documentation including terms of reference and final audit reports.
6. Ensure that actions and recommendations are acted upon and delivered by external partners.
7. Lead, or support, the delivery of external partner audits, travelling across the UK as required.
