Aspire people are currently working with a school in Ladywood in Birmingham who are seeking a 1:1 Teaching Assistant in a resource base setting. The role is starting ASAP for a fixed contract with the opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate. The role is working to support a child who is has anxiety issues. The child can easily become worried and frustrated quickly so you will need to have a calm approach to working through times and encourage and support the child to follow their learning plan. The school has average EAL and SEND needs for the geographic area and like to provide additional support for students with additional needs.
