The role:
An opportunity has arisen for a Fleet Logistics Coordinator (FLC) to join the Engineering Support Team at BAMG. The FLC is an integral member of the Engineering Support Team who works closely with the Logistics, Inventory, and Production teams. The role involves ensuring all materials, tools, equipment, or vehicles for in-work aircraft are available to meet the aircraft maintenance plan and that data accuracy is maintained. The role will involve shift work.
What you’ll do:
1. Coordinate planned and unplanned materials, tools, equipment, or vehicles to support operational requirements and maintenance inputs, using initiative to overcome challenges.
2. Coordinate local data accuracy and assist in the clearance of unserviceable and serviceable materials, including fit and remove support.
3. Ensure high-quality communication with all stakeholders, suppliers, and customers in a timely and accurate manner.
4. Ensure compliance with all applicable company, legal, and regulatory requirements, as directed by line manager or the business.
What you’ll bring to British Airways:
* Level 2 (O Grade/Standard Grade/Nat 5) qualifications (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
* Knowledge of supply chain management.
* Good knowledge of BA Engineering IT systems, desirable.
* Knowledge of IPC and Technical publications/information systems, desirable.
* Ability to work shifts.
Your experience:
* Highly proficient on EWS systems.
* Numerate with good problem-solving ability.
* Proven working knowledge of procedures and terminology applicable to aircraft maintenance, logistics, and regulated environments.
* Good influencing, interpersonal, and communication skills.
* Ability to work to deadlines and standards.
* Strong organizational skills.
