Our Team
Head, spinal cord and other serious injuries, such as those resulting in amputation, blindness and orthopaedic problems, can be life changing. Serious injuries affect our clients in different ways such as their family life, employment opportunities, healthcare needs and everyday quality of life. These claims are by nature hugely traumatic and have to be handled with the utmost care and expertise. Our serious injury solicitors pride themselves on making a real difference and we can help clients to live their life as fully as possible after a serious injury. We have years of experience helping people claim compensation for serious injuries and have specialist teams across the UK.
What You'll Be Doing
We are looking for a dedicated Paralegal to support Jonathan Betts' team of specialists in catastrophic personal injury claims, particularly acquired brain injuries from serious road traffic accidents, workplace incidents, and public liability claims.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work on complex, high-value cases, including those involving children and young adults, ensuring they receive the care, support, and compensation they need.
As a Paralegal, you will play an integral role in the team, working together with qualified Case Handlers to provide legal support on a number of cases to deliver an outstanding client experience. You will be responsible for ensuring that client queries are dealt with quickly, efficiently and with empathy, taking appropriate actions. You will work independently under supervision and as part of a team to progress cases in accordance with the department’s procedures to meet agreed personal targets.
You’ll liaise regularly with a wide range of clients and medical professionals, in person, over the phone and in writing. Whether arranging meetings, seeking medical reports and chasing information, you’ll need to show a sensitive and professional approach at all times.
