Job Overview
To supervise the day-to-day planning and allocation of the technical maintenance resource within their respective Region.
To supervise the Planned Maintenance Programme for their respective sites and deliver an excellent reactive service to the property portfolio ensuring compliance with all SLA's & KPI's.
To supervise and deliver small replacements projects and update Asset Registers when equipment is replaced as part of Life Cycle or Small Works Programme.
Training the team as required, including delivering Tool box talks and team briefs.
Checking paperwork and service standards completed by the team ensuring sites remain compliant.
Complete reports and paperwork as instructed by the Engineering Manager.
Take responsibility for your own and your team's training needs and bring them to the attention of the Engineering Manager.
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation, specific company requirements approved by the Health & Safety Executive, and the latest regulations and codes of good practice.
Main Duties
* Ensure the company Health and Safety policy is adhered to.
* Ensure compliance with the MITIE Maintenance Quality Management System as it applies to this position.
* Assist the Engineering Manager in ensuring that all Statutory and Legislative requirements are achieved/adhered to for the sites.
* Ensure clients operational procedures are adhered to at all times.
* Obtain appropriate authorization for access into restricted areas from the client's representative as and when required.
* Ensure compliance with MITIE and Client confidentiality policies.
* To provide technical support to the site Facilities Manager as and when required.
* Assist engineers to compile estimates for minor additional works and submit through small works/remedial teams.
* Conduct yourself in a professional manner in support of our customers and work colleagues.
* Be available to provide remote support outside normal hours.
* Manage a team of engineers and take responsibility for HR requirements including managing absences and grievances.
What we are looking for
* Either BS7671 Electrical Regulations, Gas ACOPs or F-Gas qualified.
* Ideally served a recognized trade training scheme.
* Essential people management skills/experience managing a small team.
* IOSH Working safely.
* Customer care/relationship building skills.
* Able to work as a member of a team.
* Able to work without direct supervision.
* Able to deal directly with customers in a professional manner and represent the company.
