Office Administrator

An opportunity has arisen for an Office Administrator to join our growing team at Galliford Try within our Environment Business in Bristol.
Galliford Try have been appointed as a Principal Contractor for the Wessex Water AMP 8 framework so you will be supporting a high performance team delivering Design & Build projects on this £3.5b AMP 8 framework.
Ideally, you will be based in or around the Bristol area and be able to be in the office 5 days a week.
What you will be doing:
As the Office Administrator you will take responsibility for Procurement and Ordering including PO Management, Fuel Cards, Equipment Hire and Procurement Compliance.
A core function of your role will be Administration Support which will include a monthly “Round Up” on the team Intranet page, updating group and site emails, managing the internal filing system, adding new starters to the office page and handling any other admin queries (both Site and Office) for the Bristol team. This will also include booking accommodation (via Inntel), arranging hire vehicles and all associated receipting.
You will act as first point of contact for staff and visitors (front desk and phone), run the weekly fire safety procedures, manage the office stationary/IT supplies, keep kitchen supplies and cleaning up to date.
Working across multiple construction sites, the Galliford Try teams will require your support with implementing Site Compliance documents for auditing purposes, managing GT helmet expiry dates, maintenance of first aid kits and fire extinguishers, and van rental and tracking procedures.
You will also manage the PAT testing of van equipment, manage the staff training matrix including submitting training request forms, and arrange monthly Corporate Social Responsibility activities.
About You:
* A proven background in office or site administration
* Able and willing to work 5 days a week in the office
* High levels of attention to detail
* Working knowledge of Microsoft packages
* Strong team player but also able to work as an individual
* Ability to prioritise a varied workload and demonstrate good time management to comply with deadlines
* Able to work in a busy environment under pressure
* Excellent communication skills (email/phone/face to face)
* Possess a “can do” attitude and provide support to other members of the team as required
