Role Responsibility
The Hard FM team within Infrastructure is seeking an experienced and motivated Area Technical Services Lead. If you have a strong background in building services with technical knowledge and a passion for managing complex projects, and would like to lead a team which ensures the compliance, functionality, safety, sustainability, and efficiency of the buildings we work in and their surrounding infrastructure, we want to hear from you!
This role will require you to direct, manage and provide advice on behalf of KCC Infrastructure on all aspects of building services, ensuring that all associated work is delivered to time, cost, quality, and statutory requirements. You will ensure that all Corporate Infrastructure standards and policies and all legislative requirements are met on all Infrastructure-led planned maintenance and reactive activities, including those delivered by the Hard FM Contractor and other suppliers.
You will be required to provide building services technical support to all stages of a project life-cycle including scoping and specifications, procurement and tender review, review of work plans, technical reporting and management data, checking physical work and invoice substantiation and verification. You will liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and end users on technical issues and promote best practice in this area.
Minimum Requirements
In order to be considered for the role, you must have:
* A proven track record of Building Services and Maintenance Supply chain management.
* A proven track record in managing technical services or building services.
* Relevant industry Health and Safety qualification such as IOSH or NEBOSH.
