Job Summary
Reporting to the Manager, Box Office, the Supervisor, Box Office assists the Box Office Manager in overseeing the daily box office operation of the 5,000-seat entertainment complex.
Responsibilities
1. Supervise the daily Box Office operation of the 5,000-seat entertainment complex.
2. Oversee the Box Office operation in the absence of the Manager.
3. Assist in creating specifications for events including developing and implementing event budgets and preparing event timelines as required.
4. Supervise activities and functions of the Box Office Staff.
5. Produce all necessary reports as requested by Management.
6. Supervise reconciliation of Box Office sellers float and deposit.
7. Handle cash, credit cards, complimentary ticket sales, and distribution.
8. Facilitate and monitor event progress to ensure timelines are met.
9. Prepare and distribute event communication to outside vendors, departments, and production staff.
10. Prepare staffing schedules, authorize time off, replace sick calls, and confirm hours of work for payroll purposes.
11. Participate in departmental meetings to communicate relevant information and resolve issues.
12. Respond to customer inquiries, providing information and resolving problems.
13. Comply with all Windsor Casino Limited policies and procedures.
14. Perform any and all related tasks as assigned by Management.
15. Uphold the highest standard of internal and external customer service at all times.
Qualifications
1. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
2. Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications with experience in word processing, spreadsheet, and email applications (will be tested).
3. Experience with industry-related software such as Ticketmaster systems considered a strong asset.
4. Must be able to work various shift schedules.
5. Must be customer service oriented.
Physical Demands:
Physical effort requiring manual dexterity is frequently required (i.e. more than 75% of time on the job).
