Job Description: Senior HR Advisor
Start Date: ASAP
Purpose:
Support the HR Manager in managing and delivering proactive HR solutions while leading on employee relations, including low-level concerns. Collaborate with the leadership team and provide regular updates on casework and reportable activities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Employee Relations:
Manage and coordinate all employee relations matters, offering expertise on disciplinaries, grievances, and compliance with ACAS codes and employment law.
2. Line Management:
Oversee and support the HR Advisor and HR Administrator, supervising the HR function's day-to-day activities. Matrix-manage junior staff as needed to ensure development and task completion.
3. Policy Implementation:
Regulate wellness data, implement wellness policies, and support staff and line managers with policy compliance at all stages.
4. Training and Development:
Design and deliver training programs in collaboration with the People & Transformation Manager to support talent management and professional growth.
5. HR Projects and Process Improvement:
Lead HR projects, review HR processes, and develop strategies to enhance the workforce's experience and embed organisational values.
6. Strategic Contribution:
Assist in developing a brand strategy and embedding organisational ethos across the workforce. Use networking skills to identify sector opportunities and inform future strategies.
7. General HR Support:
Undertake project work and provide updates to senior leaders and directors on HR-related activities.

3. Regularly evaluate and improve HR processes and practices to align with organizational goals.

Requirements:
1. Extensive experience in employee relations, with a focus on proactive solutions and compliance.
2. Leadership and line management experience within an HR team.
3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a solution-focused mindset.
4. A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for site travel.
