What skills and experience we're looking for
Elliott Hudson College are seeking to appoint an exceptional Director of Mathematics for an exciting new role a college dedicated to transforming the lives of young people in our region. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a team of skilled and dedicated Subject Leaders/Assistant Leaders, equipping them with the necessary abilities and guidance to perform their roles effectively. In this role, the Director will drive continuous improvement to fulfil the college's vision and uphold its core values.
The ideal applicant will have:
• Good understanding of the curriculum in the following subjects: A Level Mathematics, A Level Further Mathematics, Core Maths and GCSE Mathematics.
• Knowledge of strategies that promote a positive climate for learning in subjects with differing demands.
• A passion for education and for making a difference to disadvantaged students
• Ability to provide clear evaluation and strategies for improvement for leadership teams
