As a Subway Shift Leader with Sodexo at Wythenshawe Hospital, you will oversee the daily and weekly operations of the unit, ensuring the highest standards of food safety compliance and maintaining exceptional hygiene and cleanliness. Your role will involve coaching and guiding the team to deliver outstanding customer service, always leading by example. What you’ll do:
* Performing all tasks of a sandwich artist as outlined in the job description.
* Co-ordinating the team overseeing all tasks, whilst following all Sodexo and subway process and policies.
* Leading the team in the absence of the store manager. Providing daily coaching and on the spot feedback whilst being able to challenge behaviours dealing with conduct issues.
* Lead with integrity, honesty, and knowledge to promote the right culture, values and goals in line with brand image. Remaining professional, always presentable & owning your own behaviours.
* Managing all stock levels to ensure maximum sales and inventory records.
* Ensuring accurate labour planning, attendance, lateness, and absences are efficiently recorded in line with Sodexo’s policies.
* Regularly inspecting the store, ensuring all equipment is fit for purpose and maintenance is reported in a timely manner.
* Utilizing available Subway tools, such as Wiser to manage stock levels, Subventry to manage orders and physical stock counts. Sub-feed to access training, new product information and guidelines.
* Accountable for brand compliance, store standards and safety with a focus on customer satisfaction.
* Communicating to the team all changes to food speciation, standards and expectations.
* Recognition and rewarding positive staff performance.

* Previous retail, food retail and or catering experience
* Previous supervising or management experience is preferred
* The ability to remain calm under pressure and work to deadlines
