Job Title: Domestic Assistant
We require a Domestic Assistant at our care home. The main responsibility of this role is to clean assigned areas within the care home effectively, safely, and to a high standard. You will be responsible for maintaining a hygienic and safe environment for our residents, visitors, and staff.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. To clean assigned areas of the home using correct equipment and materials
2. To replenish supplies of disposable items such as soap, paper towels, etc.
3. General tidying, cleaning, and washing
4. To empty bins and arrange furniture and equipment in an orderly manner
All posts offered are subject to two satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS or PVG disclosure.
About You
The ideal candidate may have previous cleaning experience, but this is not essential as full training will be provided. As a Domestic Assistant, good communication skills, the ability to work well within a team and independently, and a flexible, energetic, and hardworking approach are important. Strong time management and organizational skills are also required.
