This is an excellent opportunity for a Commercial/Chancery Barrister or Advocate to move offshore with one of the leading names in the market. Joining a Cayman Islands litigation team with a long-standing reputation for excellence, you will be involved in some of the largest and most complex disputes in the offshore sector.
Working with an international client base, your practice will encompass a broad range of commercial, financial services, and insolvency disputes, and will include both preparatory and courtroom work. You will be expected to assist in the training and development of more junior colleagues and to play a full part in the firm's business development and client management efforts. It is ideal for an ambitious and career-minded lawyer craving a team environment and a consistent flow of high-calibre work whilst enjoying a lifestyle that is simply unattainable in most onshore financial centres.
Requirements
* Overseas qualified lawyers must be admitted (Barrister or Solicitor-Advocate) in the UK or an equivalent Commonwealth jurisdiction (such as Australia, New Zealand or Canada).
* Likely to suit someone with at least 3-6 years’ PQE (3 years’ PQE required for work permit).
* Confident advocacy skills and experience of commercial disputes is essential.
