Position Type: Permanent, Part time 18.5 hours a week.
Location: Based at City Hall with home working. When service needs arise you will be expected to work in City Hall as required.
This is an opportunity to join the Social Care & Education Application Support Team as an Application Support Assistant. We provide application support to ICT systems used by Social Care and Education services which currently includes Liquidlogic (System C) LCS/EHM/EYES/LAS/ContrOCC.
We support system user queries, investigate and resolve system issues and work with end users to improve data quality. We support system development and test system upgrades following established internal processes. Full training on how to use the systems will be provided to successful applicants.
The team are continually looking to improve and make the applications we support more efficient and usable wherever possible.
What will you be doing?
This role is varied but will focus primarily on providing support to end users in relation to system issues and queries, setting up new users on the system and undertaking application upgrade testing amongst other duties. You will also provide support to the Application Support Officers and provide first line support on our helpdesk.
You will be working in a supportive team, where teamwork is an important part of the role as is attention to detail, stakeholder and customer communication. You will need to have good communication and organisational skills, and the ability to prioritise a variety of incoming tasks whilst managing a busy workload.
