Robert Half are very excited to be working with Oregon Tool to recruit an Accounts Assistant. Oregon Tool is a leading manufacturer of Agricultural and Forestry Equipment, distributing its products all over the world. As Accounts Assistant, you will be supporting the UK & Sweden Finance Manager by completing day-today Financial Operations, as well as assisting in the preparation of the monthly reporting process. You will be based out of the Tewkesbury office and be the second hand for the Finance and HR-manager that resides in Sweden. You will be looking after all things transactional such as purchase ledger, sales ledger, credit control, journal input, plus more.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone keen to learn and build upon their preexisting skillset in Finance, or for those with broad Transactional working knowledge, looking for a long-term position, permanent.
Key Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited To:
1. Maintenance of the purchase and sales ledgers including, invoice processing, payment runs
2. Assisting the monthly reporting process such as posting fixed assets, monthly recharges, VAT, and month end costs
3. Credit control
4. Company account and bank reconciliations
5. Processing expenses
6. Posting of bank statements
7. Maintaining the cashbook
8. Checking and releasing orders
9. Assisting in Credit Management/credit control
10. Responding to and resolving incoming queries by phone and email from internal and external stakeholders
11. Ad hoc finance administration as required
Person Specification:
12. Strong attention to detail and ability to consistently meet deadlines
13. Demonstrated skills in continuous learning, flexibility, customer focus and building positive relationships
14. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
15. Strong multitasking and practical verbal and written communication skills
16. Analytical mindset and adaptable to change
17. Respect for the confidential nature of processed information and data
18. Experience within the related field or/and SAP is a merit
