We'll be in touch and you can choose what suits your availability, We're looking for passionate volunteer photographers to help capture the heart of our work. Your photos will showcase our events, community activities, and the people we support-raising awareness, engaging supporters, and driving our mission forward. Join us in making a difference through the power of photography! As a Volunteer Photographer, you will:
* Take high-quality photos for our website, social media, and publications (Blood Cancer UK will own the image copyrights).
* Capture staff, volunteers, event participants, and our blood cancer community at organised events.
* Work to a creative brief, photographing people (both candid and posed), events, and fundraising activities.
* Edit photos using software like Photoshop, including resizing, retouching, and colour correction.
* Work alongside the Blood Cancer UK team to obtain consent when photographing individuals.
* Liaise with the Events and Fundraising teams to ensure images are consistent with our brand.
* Adhering to Blood Cancer UK's Policies and Procedures at all times.
Media production (video/audio)
* Photography, We're looking for photographers with at least three years of experience who have:
* Access to a DSLR or high-quality digital camera.
* Their own photography and editing equipment (including software).
* A keen eye for capturing engaging and impactful moments.
* Confidence working independently and taking initiative.
* Strong interpersonal skills to engage with a variety of people, including children.
* Proven experience using photo editing software.
* Experience following a photographic brief (preferred but not essential).
