* Provide day to day support to theSenior Engineering Manager – Systems Engineering and Integration,deputising where requested
Provide leadership and governance oversight ofRequirements Decomposition, System Design, Development,Implementation and Integration Provide leadership and support to the System Team inmaturing the delivery strategies in context of WholeBoat Provide leadership to the System Team and transversalsin review and acceptance of deliverables Provide leadership and support to the System Team inDesign Development and Declaration of compliance against allrequirements Chair relevant workshops and workinggroups Liaise with internal and external customers as requiredto foster collaborative working relationships and ensurerequirements are adequately articulated, understood andmet Work with BAE Systems’ supply chain department andcollaborate with partners to ensure a fit for purpose solution tothe requirements
Your skills andexperiences:
Essential:
* BEng (Hons) / MEng or equivalent in a STEMsubject
CEng (or beable to satisfy requirements for CEng) Demonstrableexperience of engineering lifecycle, ideally within final designphase and later phases Test andvalidation plans Experience withSystem design verification e.g. calculations, modelling,analysis
Desirable:
* Awareness of aircraft best practises ARP4754A, DO178,DO254 or equivalent

The Control &Instrumentation (C&I)team: As an EngineeringManager, you will be providing leadership and governance oversightof the platform control and instrumentation systems. You will provide day today management of the team leads and be responsible for developingand maintain the competency and skills of C&I personnel.
